​Originally founded by Perry L. Johnson in 1994, Perry Johnson Registrars has been at the forefront of the international certification and registration industry from the very beginning. Mr. Johnson, having seen the impact of ISO certification on industry in Europe, was inspired to bring those now-ubiquitous standards to the United States. After achieving ANAB accreditation shortly after PJR’s creation in 1995, PJR’s first venture into international business came with a 1999 expansion into the Japanese and Brazilian markets. The early 2000’s would see further growth overseas, with offices opening in Germany, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latin America, and Thailand. During this time PJR also attained UKAS accreditation. In more recent years, PJR has continued broadening its international horizons with offices in the United Kingdom and China.
