03 / Training

Training your team will actually use

Internal auditor and awareness training delivered to your people — on-site or remote — with the attendance and competence records an auditor will ask to see.

Auditors interview staff. Not the quality manager. Whoever happens to be standing at the machine when the auditor walks past, asked what the quality policy means for their job.

That's the reason training is a certification requirement rather than a nice-to-have. ISO 9001 Clause 7.2 expects you to define competence for roles affecting quality, ensure people meet it, and retain evidence.

Which is why we deliver training live, to your team, using your processes as the worked examples. Generic e-learning produces certificates. It rarely produces someone who can explain how their work affects quality when an auditor asks them directly.

Four sessions that come up most

All delivered live, tailored to your standard and your operation, on-site or remote.

One session, competent team
  • Internal auditor training

How to plan, conduct, record and report an internal audit, so your own people can run the programme independently.

  • Awareness training

What the system is, why it exists, and what each role is responsible for. This is the one auditors test by interview.

  • Standard-specific training

R2v3 requirements for floor and warehouse teams, or clause-level training for the people maintaining an ISO system.

  • Management review and leadership

What top management is actually accountable for, and how to run a management review that satisfies Clause 9.3 rather than repeating last year's.

Records

You get the evidence, not just the session

Every session produces what the standard expects you to retain: attendance records, session content, and a competence assessment where the role calls for one.

Competence and awareness gaps are among the more common finding areas, and it's usually not that training didn't happen. It's that nobody kept proof.

Group size

Sessions work best with the people who'll actually do the job. A handful for internal auditor training, whole-team for awareness. Tell us who needs it and we'll tell you how to split it.

Questions

Common questions

Is training delivered on-site or remotely?

Either. Awareness and clause training work well remotely. Internal auditor training is usually better on-site, because the practice audit runs against your real processes.

Do attendees get a certificate?

Yes, along with attendance records and, where the role warrants it, a competence assessment. Those are the records that satisfy the competence requirement.

Can you train our people to run internal audits themselves?

That's exactly what internal auditor training is for. Some clients then run the programme in-house; others keep us for independence and use trained staff on other processes.

Do you offer self-paced online courses?

Not currently. Training is delivered live so it can be built around your processes, which is what makes it hold up when an auditor interviews your team.
